The air is “RED” here in Kuwait today, so it doesn’t look like we’re going on any training runs. It’s just as well, I’m dragging ass today and the $5.50 “venti white-chocolate mocha + extra espresso shot” didn’t do shit to wake me up. And yes, I do find it hilarious that there is a Starbucks coffee in the center of the old “staging bases” from the beginning of the war. Virginia, Udari and Ali Al Salam AB are the ones I’ve seen again so far.

That’s not true – but folks are coming in now, so that means I’ll eventually be sent home to out-process from the Army, again. You can keep on asking me when that will be – but you know as much as I do. Oh, yeah, and it doesn’t do ANY good to ask anyone in my chain of command: they don’t know shit either.

Monday, February 8th, 2010We’ve been on a rampage recently of taking stupid photos. Pretty much whatever we’re doing we find some way to take a picture or two in the process, and it’s always doing something dumb. What can I say – we have a gift.
